Island Style BARFI
Have the kids help make this delicious , creamy Peanut butter BARFI. Prefect to share on diwali or ANY occasion you celebrate!
INGREDIENTS
3 cups full fat milk powder
200 Ml Whole Milk + Cream (1+1)
100g Sugar Fine
3 TBSP ISLAND STYLE PEANUT BUTTER
DIREcTIONS
Line a cake tin with greaseproof paper.
Toast off milk powder on a medium heat. Dont burn!!
Remove and set aside.
In same pan add milk, cream and sugar. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add 2/3 of the milk powder and stir together, once it begins to thicken add the peanut butter and remaining powder.
Once the mixture begins to come away from the pan transfer to lined cake tin. Decorate with crushed peanuts.
Pop in fridge for a few hours then cut into desired shape.
If you would like to add a Choc layer, halve the mixture and replace the peanut butter with cocoa powder
